Man Chooses a Football Game Over His Friend’s Wedding... Cue The OUTRAGE
A husband is under fire for choosing a football game over his wife. He asked for advice on Reddit’s “Am I the A****** (AITA)” forum. The man planned to attend his wife’s friend’s wedding, but when he learned it was on the same day of a so-called historic football game, he decided to bail. Now his wife is heartbroken. He said, “So my wife’s friend has a wedding coming up this Sunday that is a few hours away from where we live. The bride is a close friend of my wife’s from college but I’ve only met her a handful of times and to be honest she kind of sucks. When we RSVP’d a year ago I wasn’t exactly thrilled. For anyone who follows football, this is a special, special week in sports history because Tom Brady is returning to play the New England Patriots.” When he realized the game and the wedding were on the same day, he came up with a plan. The man said, “I totally forgot about the wedding day until a few weeks ago and when I realized the date I was devastated but I didn’t know how to approach the wife. I knew it would look bad so last week I reached out to her gay best friend Tito and asked if he had any plans for this Sunday. He didn’t and was actually thrilled at the idea of accompanying my wife as a plus one ’cause he loves dancing. So I floated this to her. And she flipped. She told me it was rude and disrespectful and also downplayed the importance of the game just like I knew she would. I told her Tito was happy to attend but she just gawked at me then started crying. I’m not going to the game, I’m watching on TV. And for those suggesting I tape it, I could but that’s not practical in the social media age.” Redditors felt the husband was totally wrong. Someone wrote, “You are screwing up your marriage royally here and it’s unbelievable to me that you don’t see it. Please reconsider your priorities in life.” Another said, “It doesn’t matter how much you like this friend of your wife’s or how well you know her. This is part of being married.” A person commented, “You are letting your wife down for something you can record and watch later.”

I want to see the Earth. I want to see what we need to do to save Earth." As the capsule landed, Shatner could be heard saying, "That was unlike anything they described." After the flight Shatner teared up when he said, “In a word, it's indescribable. Everybody in the world needs to do this. Everybody in the world needs to see.”

Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly Take Couples Quiz -- Talk Tattoos, Their First Date And More!
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly took GQ's “Couples Quiz” and the video was shared to the magazine’s YouTube channel. The rocker struggled a bit with the first question of how many tattoos his girlfriend… he guessed eight but she had nine. He also got the bonus question wrong, which was what does her back tattoo say… MGK said it was a quote from Oscar Wilde but it’s a quote from Shakespeare. Kelly then answered the following several questions correctly, including naming something on Fox's bucket list, revealing she wants to "be abducted by a UFO." He later went on to detail the couple's "epic" first "out of the house" date, which was a picnic in LA's Topanga Canyon that he had thousands of roses bedded on a hill. Fox then asked Kelly to name her "favorite way to decompress after a long day" and he then correctly answered that Fox enjoys things like drinking tea, a foot massage and reading a book after a stressful day. **MGK went on to mention, "Our first date, we breathed each other. That's what we did."

An elementary school in Seattle canceled its annual Halloween parade this year, saying it “marginalizes students of color who do not celebrate the holiday.” The school district said “Historically, the Pumpkin Parade marginalizes students of color who do not celebrate the holiday. Specifically, these students have requested to be isolated on campus while the event took place.” Instead, students this year will take part in inclusive fall events, like “thematic units of study about the fall” and reviewing “autumnal artwork.”
Winter Heating Bills Set to Jump as Inflation Hits Home
Get ready for high bills for heating this winter, along with everything else. With prices surging worldwide for heating oil, natural gas and other fuels, the U.S. government said they expect households to see their heating bills jump as much as 54% compared to last winter. Nearly half the homes in the U.S. use natural gas for heat, and they could pay an average $746 this winter, 30% more than a year ago. Those in the Midwest could get particularly pinched, with bills up an estimated 49%, and this could be the most expensive winter for natural-gas heated homes since 2008-2009. The second-most used heating source for homes is electricity, making up 41% of the country, and those households could see a more modest 6% increase to $1,268. Homes using heating oil, which make up 4% of the country, could see a 43% increase, more than $500. MORE: The higher prices hit everyone, with pay raises for most workers so far failing to keep up with inflation. But they hurt low-income households in particular. To make ends meet, nearly 22% of Americans had to reduce or forego expenses for basic necessities, such as medicine or food, to pay an energy bill in at least one of the last 12 months. The biggest reason for this winter’s higher heating bills is the recent surge in prices for energy commodities after they dropped to multi-year lows in 2020. Demand has simply grown faster than production as the economy roars back to life following shutdowns caused by the coronavirus. Natural gas in the United States has climbed to its highest price since 2014 and is up roughly 90% over the last year.
