Gabby Petito Case: FBI Search Brian Laundrie's Mustang and His Parents' Home

Yesterday, the FBI searched boyfriend Brian Laundrie's abandoned Ford Mustang and executed a search warrant on the home of his parents after a body was found, which could be his missing fiance Gabby Petito. Brian Laundrie is considered a person of interest in the investigation. Laundrie went missing sometime last week and is believed to have traveled to the Carlton Reserve near his home in North Port, Florida. His family found his car abandoned there. An attorney for the family said the family initially left the car there so that Brian Laundrie could drive it back, but they returned to retrieve it and filed a missing persons report. More than 50 police, FBI and other officers from a total of six agencies spent two days looking for Laundrie in the 25,000 acre Carlton Reserve area. They have since abandoned the search at the reserve. FBI agents stormed the home of Brian Laundrie’s parents with their guns drawn, thinking maybe he was hiding inside. Agents spent several hours inside the home collecting evidence. The body found in Wyoming has yet to be confirmed to be that of Petito. An autopsy is scheduled for today (Tuesday). The body was found in a park after a blogger found video of the van the couple was traveling in while going through some of her footage. She handed the footage over to police and it’s said to be a crucial piece of evidence in the timeline. Petito, who last spoke to her family on August 25, was reported missing on September 11 after Laundrie returned home alone from a cross-country trip the couple were taking.

AJ McLean says postponing the Backstreet Boys' upcoming Vegas residency was the right thing because of the pandemic and their international fans. During a recent interview with NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, AJ said that it was only right to push Backstreet Boys’ Vegas residency until 2022 due to a lot of fans from outside the U.S. still not being able to travel to the states. The Backstreet Boys were supposed to begin their residency in November at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood. They are also set to drop their first-ever Christmas album. AJ said the residency and the album, which is still in the works, go hand in hand and it’s why the album release was also delayed. AJ, Joey and others are still slated to perform this upcoming weekend in Miami for a 90's Pool Party.
