Most Pet Owners Prefer Telling Deepest Secrets to Their Furry Friends Than Other Humans
A new survey of 2,000 American pet owners found that 62% would rather tell all their secrets to their pets than another human. What respondents love most about their pets is their loyalty, which is why 88% believe having them by their side makes their life feel more complete. For a quarter, they have never gone a day without a pet by their side and 72% feel depressed without them around. If respondents go on a trip, 64% will ask a close family member to watch their pet while they are away. 4 in 5 Americans say their pet has taught them to be a better, more responsible person. Just as many add their pet has brought them nothing but complete joy.

The Internet Can’t Get Enough of the Viral #MilkCrateChallenge
Social media users have been posting videos of the #MilkCrateChallenge. It's a viral trend in which participants attempt to climb a staircase of milk crates without falling. It may sound like a pretty simple task, the challenge has proven to be quite difficult for most. When stacked on top of one another, they provide very little stabilization. The higher an individual climbs up the staircase, the harder it becomes to stay balanced, especially on uneven surfaces like lawns. Some participants have successfully completed the challenge, but the vast majority have failed miserably.

Ben Affleck Seen Browsing Engagement Rings at Tiffany’s
Ben Affleck was seen browsing engagement rings at the Century City, Calif. Tiffany’s with his mom Sam and son Samuel Monday — presumably for his on-again love Jennifer Lopez. Affleck first popped the question to Lopez back in November 2002, using a 6.1-carat pink diamond by Harry Winston that reportedly cost $2.5 million. But the couple decided to postpone their planned 2003 wedding, blaming “excessive media attention” in a statement. The couple officially broke things off in 2004. Lopez and Affleck sparked things back up in April, just a month after she ended her two-year engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
Mayim Bialik To Fill In As Interim 'Jeopardy!' Host, Although Producers Want Her Permanently
Mayim Bialik is filling in as the host of "Jeopardy!" after Mike Richards stepped down when clips resurfaced featuring him making disparaging comments about women and other groups. “The Big Bang Theory” actress was also recently announced as the host for the “Jeopardy!” primetime and spinoff series. She's has been tapped to replace Richards on a short-term basis.
Bialik is currently scheduled to tape three weeks-worth of episodes and additional guest hosts will be announced as production continues on the upcoming season. HOWEVER... Sony bosses have even offered up the possibility of shooting on weekends and normal hiatus weeks to squeeze in more shows with Mayim. She's already locked in for 15 episodes.
NFL: 'Madden NFL 22' Predicts the 2021 Season
Yahoo Sports has simulated an entire NFL season in the latest edition of the “Madden” video game. Here is what “Madden NFL 22” predicts will happen in the 2021 NFL season: This year’s version of “Madden” featured last year’s Super Bowl QBs on the cover in Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes put together perhaps the best offensive season in history, throwing for a record 5,663 yards and a 54-7 TD-INT ratio and winning both the NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards. In Brady's age-44 season, he threw for what would have been a record 5,548 yards with 43 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Brady also completed 70 percent of his passes and picked up the No. 1 seed in the NFC. The Cowboys locked down the NFC East thanks to the return of Dak Prescott. The Eagles signed Colin Kaepernick to be their starting quarterback. He had career highs in yards and TDs with the Eagles, but Philadelphia finished third in the division at 7-10 and missed the playoffs. Newcomers Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields proved they were ready for the NFL in a big way.Lawrence threw for 4,523 yards with 33 TDs and 14 INTs, while Fields tossed for 4,518 yards 37 TDs and 13 INTs. Both rookie QBs managed to win their divisions and make the playoffs. The Patriots won the AFC East behind Cam Newton. Matt Stafford struggled to guide the Rams offense, leading the team to a 4-13 record. Jared Goff missed the playoffs by finishing 7-10 with the Detroit Lions. Nick Chubb finished with 1,993 yards on the ground and added 17 TDs for the 13-4 Browns, who also finished with the 2nd best overall offense in the NFL. Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey had huge seasons in the “Madden” simulation. Barkley tallied a career high 1,607 yards rushing and had 9 TDs while McCaffrey had a similar career year with 1,537 yards and 17 TDs. In the AFC, five of the seven playoff teams were the same as last season, with division winners Jacksonville and New England crashing the party in the simulation. The Ravens locked up the top seed, forcing Kansas City to win three games en route to advancing to its third Super Bowl in a row. In the NFC, only the Bucs — who captured the No.1 seed — and Bears returned from 2020. The Cowboys, 49ers, Giants, Falcons and the NFC champion Panthers were all newcomers. Mahomes and Kansas City defeated Carolina 38-26.

Britney Spears' Dad Jamie Claims Her 'Addiction and Mental Health Issues' Are Far More Serious Than Revealed
Britney Spears father Jamie Spears says his daughter's struggles with "addiction and mental health issues” are far more serious than the public knows. Jamie, who recently agreed to step down as a conservator of Britney’s estate after 13 years, just filed court documents where he claimed people would “praise” him if they knew "highly confidential” information about the severity of Britney’s issues. In a 15-page filing to Los Angeles County Court filed earlier this month, He said, “If the public knew all the facts of Ms. Spears' personal life, not only her highs but also her lows, all of the addiction and mental health issues that she has struggled with, and all of the challenges of the Conservatorship, they would praise Mr. Spears for the job he has done, not vilify him.” MORE: In the filings, Jamie denied being in control of Britney's prescription drug plan and said medication was supervised by former conservator Jodi Montgomery. He says the treatment plan was agreed upon with Montgomery, Britney's late psychiatrist Dr. Benson, her ex-lawyer Sam Ingham III, and other medical experts. Jamie claimed his main role in Britney's medical treatment was paying the bills, noting that Montgomery was given $10k a month to handle the matter, but medical costs often “went over that.” Jamie stressed his only goal has been to “save” his daughter. He added, “There is no doubt that the Conservatorship saved Ms. Spears from disaster, supported her when she needed it the most, protected her and her reputation from harm, and facilitated the restoration of her career.” While he acknowledged that Britney felt "constrained" by her treatment plan, the doctors say the treatments were joint decisions made to safeguard her from self-harm. Jamie added that he was willing to step aside in order to keep his daughter from having to deal with a draining “public feud.” Jamie feels like he shouldn’t be removed or suspended, but plans to step down at an appropriate time.
