(Awkward) — Bride Dies During Wedding Ceremony, So Groom Marries Her Sister Instead

A bride in India died at her wedding, so the groom married her younger sister instead. The bride and groom were in the middle of exchanging vows when the bride died of a heart attack right in front of everyone. Instead of postponing the wedding, the families laid the bride’s body in the room next door as they made the decision to have the groom marry the bride’s younger sister instead. The bride’s brother said it was a tough call for his parents: "One daughter lay dead in one room and the wedding of another daughter was happening in the other room.”

Anheuser-Busch Offers to Buy America a Round if Vaccination Goal is Hit

President Biden hopes to have 70% of Americans at least partially vaccinated by July 4, and Anheuser-Busch says it will sweeten the deal with a round of beers. Anheuser-Busch “will buy America's next round of beer, seltzer, non-alcoholic beverage or other A-B product" for people over 21." The company says the giveaway will begin when the CDC confirms that 70% of Americans have had at least one dose of a COVID vaccine and will end seven days later. $312 For Water? High Rollers Slammed For Posting Exorbitant Vegas Receipts Online

Some high rollers are advertising their sky-high bar and restaurant receipts from Las Vegas on social media — admitting they are dropping hundreds of dollars on water and mid-shelf liquor. One user, who goes by the handle @Investor_NICK_ posted a receipt (from "a day party at Encore Beach Club") for $8,612. The tab included $312 for water, $75 for chicken fingers and a $825 bottle of Tito’s vodka, which has a retail value of about $30.

Responding to the social media brag, another Sin City showoff posted a $189,375 receipt from the Tryst nightclub at the Wynn Hotel — mocking the initial poster as a “rookie". His bill included four bottles of Veuve Clicquot Yellow for $100,000 — which have a retail value of about $50 each — along with $770 for a bottle of Grey Goose vodka. Other eye-popping price tags included $25,000 for a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne and $156 for 13 Red Bulls. But observers ultimately got the last laugh — with one writing: “How many damn chicken fingers are on that platter?” to which another user quipped, “They’re covered in gold.” Others called the receipts tacky and wildly wasteful. “I guarantee you there is not a single poor person in the world who has made a purchase nearly as stupid or frivolous as this — and yet the rich have convinced us it’s *the poor* who are “bad with money." Another wrote, “They paid $312 for this,” alongside a 24-pack of Fiji water that costs $27.99. “It’s a picture of a receipt made by people who think they know what wealth is."

Dr. Fauci's upcoming book has been removed from and altered on online listings, amid criticism that he is profiting from the pandemic. "Expect the Unexpected” was removed from Amazon as of yesterday (Wednesday). However, a cached version of the listing, still displayed the book's promotional description and preorder status. A cached website also shows the book's listing on Barnes & Noble's website, though by yesterday morning that listing was no longer live anymore. The book appeared to still be available for preorder on some lesser known vendors such as Booktopia. 'Jackass' Director Claims Bam Margera Made Death Threats to Him and His Kids

Troubled prankster Bam Margera has been sending disturbing messages to 'Jackass' director Jeff Tremaine, including threatening his safety and his children’s safety. The court has granted Tremaine's request for a temporary restraining order against Bam, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from Jeff, his wife and kids, and to stop contacting him. Tremaine claims he's been getting harassed by Bam since February. He says it all started after Bam didn’t show up for a virtual meeting to discuss how he could help Margera with his mental health and sobriety struggles. Tremaine says Bam has threatened violence, compared him to Harvey Weinstein, posted obscene drawings and made a comment that he and Johnny Knoxville can "pencil in their death certificate.” One message from Bam said: ”Look at your children and grab your pocket book and write a check, if you are greedy, and cheap, look at your children again. If you don‘t sign the paper, look at you children. Sign your stupid f***ing contract before you’re not safe anywhere." Bam claims Tremaine and Knoxville strung him along to be part of "Jackass 4" only to cut him loose over what he calls unreasonable demands.
