Most Americans Don’t Start ‘Adulting’ Until their 30s

According to new research, the top sign that signaled when respondents were an adult was when they had to think about saving money (35%). Half of Americans don’t even start saving up for a home until they’re at least 30 years old.
Other top “adulting” signs include filing their taxes (32%), signing up for life insurance (29%), and sticking to a budget (29%). The survey also finds more than half of Americans (51%) feel like they’re off track of where they should be in life. In fact, 39 percent feel like they’re being left in the dust by friends. On average, people think others should start feeling like an adult at age 25, although 30 percent didn’t start feeling like an adult themselves until later on.
Three in Five Would End a Date Over Annoying Food Habits

According to a new poll, three in five Americans would end a date early or break up with someone if they had a food habit they found annoying – especially men. Men are almost twice as likely as women (42% vs. 25%) to break up with someone or end a date early because of their partner’s food habits.
They’re also more likely to admit to having the same bad habits themselves. 68 percent believe talking with your mouth full is the most inexcusable food sin. It’s also the offense most people confess to being guilty of as well. Gen-Z respondents are the most tolerant age group, with 73 percent saying they’d simply ignore a food habit that annoyed them. Millennials are more outspoken, with 61 percent saying they’d politely ask the offender to stop. They’re also the most likely Americans to end a date or relationship over these offenses, with 48 percent saying they’ve done so. On a first date, 42 percent believe chewing with your mouth open is reason enough to end the night early.Nearly half (49%) add dropping food on the floor and then eating is also unforgivable leading to dates ending prematurely. What about slurping food? That’s a big no-no according to 52 percent of those in the poll. While respondents love dips, they don’t appreciate when someone double dips the chip (44%). 40 percent believe that only one dip is appropriate per potato chip.

At age of 90, the ‘Star Trek’ star would become the oldest person ever in space.
The Latest in the Britney Spears Story: She Was Under Surveillance, In Her Bedroom
In the new documentary ‘Controlling Britney Spears’, which was released on Friday, insiders talk about the conservatorship and the "intense surveillance apparatus" that was apparently in place to keep tabs on her. The insiders said Jamie Spears was monitoring Britney’s calls and texts via a security firm he'd hired to protect her, as well as capturing audio recordings from her bedroom. A former employee of the security company said, ”It really reminded me of somebody that was in prison. And security was put in a position to be the prison guards.” The former employee says all of Britney Spears' texts, FaceTime calls, browser history, notes, and photos were monitored by mirroring her phone's iCloud account on an iPad and an iPod. Those encrypted communications would then be sent to Jamie Spears and the singer's then-business manager. He said there were also "extremely sensitive" audio recordings taken from Britney Spears' bedroom that he says he was asked to delete by his boss (but he didn’t). An attorney for Jamie Spears says his actions "were well within the parameters of the authority conferred upon him by the court" and "were done with the knowledge and consent of Britney, her court-appointed attorney, and/or the court.”
Swipe At First Sight: Online Daters Decide Whether To ‘Swipe Right’ Within A Second
Online dates decide whether to “swipe right” within a second. Researchers looked at college students and a group of adults, most of whom were around the age of 35. The people all looked at dating profiles to pick who they were interested in dating. RESULTS: On average participants only swiped right for those who were of the same race. Also, they chose profiles of white users more often than those of color. And it took people just a second on average to “swipe right” as appearance mattered more than personality.

Elon Musk and Grimes Split
Elon Musk says he and his girlfriend of three years, Canadian singer Grimes, have split. The Tesla chief said, ”We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently, and are on great terms.” Musk said they'll continue to co-parent their 1-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii. He also said the breakup was mainly spurred by scheduling conflicts: "It's mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in [Los Angeles].” The two started dating in 2018. The couple welcomed their son two years later. Musk has five other sons with his first ex-wife, Justine Wilson. He married (and divorced) his second wife, actress Talulah Riley, twice, with their final split finalized in 2016.
